    Description

    Canesten Solution – 20ml

Canesten Solution is an antifungal treatment containing clotrimazole, used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, and fungal intertrigo, as well as fungal infections of the outer ear. It comes in a convenient liquid drop form, making it easy to apply to affected areas.

    How It Works

Clotrimazole works by disrupting the outer membrane of fungal cells, causing the contents to leak out and killing the fungus. This stops the infection from spreading and allows the skin or ear to heal. It specifically targets the fungi responsible for common skin and ear infections without harming your own cells.

    Directions for Use

For skin infections, apply a thin layer of the solution to the affected area two to three times daily and gently rub in. For ear infections, apply 2 to 3 drops into the affected ear two to three times daily. Continue treatment for at least one month for skin infections, or for two weeks after symptoms have cleared. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
